The shields have extremely tight tolerances helping to keep all the nasty dirt from your precious ceramic ball bearings. When they do need a cleaning, the removable C-clip shields are there to do the job.

These one of a kind bearings have a "top hat" that can be pulled out of them to create a 10mm bearing. Put the hat back in, and you have yourself some 8mm bearings. They work great on any truck. Extremely close fitting, yet frictionless, bearing shields keep out dirt like no other steel shield on the market.
Come in a set of 8 (enough for one complete skateboard) and with 4, 10mm bearing spacers that can also be used as an 8mm spacer.
